Bible reading plans
Build the plan that fits your life, then never lose track of it.
Cadence turns a sentence like “read all four Gospels in 60 days, weekends off” into a real, dated schedule — and when life gets in the way, it helps you catch up instead of starting over.

A reading plan that survives a bad week
Most reading plans are a printed grid. They assume you never travel, never get ill, never have a week that gets away from you — and the first day you miss, the whole thing quietly becomes a reminder of what you didn’t do. Cadence is built the other way round: the plan bends to your life, and getting back on track is a deliberate, three-option decision rather than a chore you avoid.
Describe it, and the plan builds itself
Type what you want in plain English — “Read all four Gospels in 60 days, weekends off” — and Cadence turns it into a dated, day-by-day schedule. It handles parallel tracks too, so an Old Testament reading, a New Testament reading and a Psalm can run side by side.
Or build it yourself, in four steps
Pick from all 66 books, set a length anywhere from a day to a year, choose which weekdays are rest days, then preview the first few days before you commit. Chapters are distributed for you.
Falling behind isn’t the end of the plan
Miss a few days and Cadence asks how you want to recover: skip the missed days, compress them into what’s left and keep your end date, or extend the plan and keep your normal pace. No silent guilt, no starting over.
Read together, share only what you choose
Groups run on an invite code — there’s no public directory. Everyone gets their own copy of the shared plan, so your ticks stay yours, and your daily progress stays private until you turn sharing on.
Progress
Know exactly where you stand
Every plan shows your current streak, your longest streak, how far through you are and how many days are left. Expand the schedule and you get the whole plan day by day — done, missed, rest and upcoming, each marked clearly.
A streak carries across all your plans at once, and rest days never break it.
